Mark Allen Webber (born July 19, 1980) is an American actor, known for his roles in the films Snow Day and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. He received a Best Actor nomination for his performance in Just Like the Son at the 2007 Method Fest Independent Film Festival and was the recipient of the Rising Star Award at the 2007 Philadelphia Film Festival.
Webber was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he spent his preteen years. He was later raised by his single mother, Cheri Honkala, in the slums of North Philadelphia, where they spent time homeless, living in cars and abandoned buildings, and struggling to survive during the harsh winters. Webber’s life was subsequently the subject of a major TV network news magazine story. He and his mother have been outspoken homeless advocates for many years and continue to be, walking in protests, helping to educate voters, and volunteering to help provide food and shelter to the urban poor in Philadelphia and elsewhere —Wikipedia

"Writer/director/actor Mark Webber creates a stark, yet intimate, atmosphere where we can't help but feel we are bearing witness to the most private moments between a father and son. Set against the backdrop of Los Angeles, The End of Love is an achingly honest portrait with scenes linked not by dramatic line but by emotional vitality. Endowed with a raw but vibrant truth, it tells a story about the universal pain of loss and the courage it takes to change. - T.G" http://filmguide.sundance.org/film/120049/the_end_of_love#.Tua1yVAd5pQ.twitter
Save The Date and The End Of Love will be heading to Sundance Film Fest in 2012! "The End of Love — Writer, director and star Mark Webber plays a young father whose life starts to fall apart after the death of his spouse, leaving behind an infant child (played by his real-life son.) The film does a lot of blending real life with fiction, with Webber playing a character with his own name and co-stars Shannyn Sossamon, Michael Cera, Jason Ritter, Amanda Seyfried, and Frankie Shaw turning up as fictional versions of themselves. “It’s inspired by elements of his life. He does have loss in his life, and it’s about how you deal with it, but also how you process it while having someone to take care of,” Groth says. “It’s very intimate.” http://insidemovies.ew.com/2011/11/30/sundance-2012-lineup-revealed-time-travel-sex-and-sex-dominate-competition/
