thank you!
I love how he put such moving speeches in the end of his films, it gives more depth, they don't make it like them these days
After watching Modern Times, I started a journey of his films and the view has been spectacular.
Chaplin's all up in my Netflix queue right now. Illegal amounts of fun being had!
Chaplin was also known, what is silent movie as a techincian, very well ! but, Chaplin is most naive and ironic director. That's why how Chaplin was archive success.
Mabel's Married Life, The Masquerader, Recreation, The Face on the Bar Room Floor, The Rounders, Laughing Gas? Why are all my favs missing ;_;
CITY LIGHTS is my favorite film...except for all the others:) I just ordered the Mutual Collection from the UK and can't wait to spend time with the Little Tramp. Also, if you can find a copy of the book MY FATHER, CHARLIE CHAPLIN written by his late son, get it! It's long OOP but I discovered a paperback 1st ed. in my local used bookstroe for a buck and soon became mesmerized: great insight into the creation of THE GREAT DICTATOR, MODERN TIMES, and CITY LIGHTS for starters. Good luck!
