I don't get what the fuss is all about and why is she a star. In her post-Caution films (Hennessy, Wu Xia), she just stands there smiling and looking nice. Weird.

My great frustration has been the lack of availability of her films in the West. I have not been able to see either Late Autumn or Wu Xia. Despite living in Toronto where Late Autumn screened at TIFF, it has not screen again since.

A truly talented actress that has naturalism and (unconventional) beauty in spades. Unfortunately, she has largely been marginalised in Chinese cinema due to her performance in Lust,Caution.
