The current quote for this page (regarding salad dressing sales outgrossing his films) is hilarious. One of my most beloved friends was telling me about the famous people who often came to the restaurant she worked at (celebrity sightings are rare in our little Illinois town just outside of St. Louis, MO), and Paul Newman was one of them. She said, "You know that one salad dressing guy?? He comes in here a lot, and he walks funny."

If only The Verdict were on here. A great film with possibly his best performance. Many people believe he is just an actor who got by on average skill but was mainly effortlessly cool with raw sex appeal, neither of which he portrays in The Verdict.
