Djo Tunda Wa Munga Was Born in 1972, in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo). After living in Europe, he returned to the DRC and established a film production company dedicated to training young filmmakers. In 2009, he produced Congo in Four Acts , a series of films which were the first DRC-directed documentaries to be selected for the Berlinale. He has directed several medium-length documentaries, including Horizon en Transition (2005) and State of Mind (2010). Viva Riva! (2010) is his feature film debut. —africultures.com
