Shoot, man, I feel like watching any and all of his films right now. Of course, I can't do that, but this guy is freaking awesome. We need more access to Rivette films across the board. Hopefully Criterion releases one soon, as they have stated they would. Savvy

No reason for that ! The man was there before the flashy Godard and his stupid anti-theater statement. There's life in everything, you just need to do it right and Rivette did the theater more than greatly !

Ain't that the truth. Celine and Julie, La Belle Noiseuse and Out 1 should all be obvious criterion releases, and you could probably throw in Gang of Four as well. What are they waiting for?
