a fucking men.
“I don’t want to make movies for kids, and I don’t want to make movies for adults either.” I have two solutions for you girl : - make films for animals or objects (am not sure that they will appreciate). - stop making films, you're not obliged to... Man, what a stupid quote.
I really like her, but I just can't stand the fact that she's embarrassing herself with the fucking Bella roles.
She's such a natural, radiant performer that it seems, when she really gets into the skin of the character, that she isn't acting at all - but while mannerisms from her own personality shine through, not one of her different characters feel like they process things quite the same way. Similar to Woody Allen, it's not about the physicality, it's about what's projected in the eyes and the emotion of the character being played. She's brilliant.
Anything you've described. I think you're reading way too much into blank stares. Sometimes they're just blank stares, adding nothing to the character, other than that the character is more bland than white paint.
Hi Douglas. I just wanna say, again, I really admire you fighting the good fight for the actors you love and the movies you love, even when you're kinda alone. But I agree on Kristen Stewart. And I have a feeling that she'll surprise everybody with her acting in ON THE ROAD.Can't wait to hear the first reactions from Cannes...about the movie and her. By the way...we talked about Cannes last year being great. Cannes this year is even better! We have the prodigal son of France; Leos Carax, returning. And there's Haneke: interesting what he comes up with- he delivered the best film of his career last time he was in Cannes, so where can he go from there?. Cronenberg, what can he pull out of Pattinson? And is it a return to the old, edgier Cronenberg? AUDIARD's great...And very excited about MUNGIU's new one, too, it's been too damn long since his last one. Dominik, fuck! Reygadas, even more fuck! GARRONE, also returning after having made a masterpiece last time out. And there's many more. Special mention: Vinterberg returns to the place that made him a star 14 years ago- 14 years and 4 bland movies- hopefully it'll be a triumphant return. He should start out by saying "I am NOT a nazi"!. - "I may come from Denmark AND zentropa but I'm not a nazi!". ULRICH.
i tried so hard not to hate her after that 'twilight crap' . then i just saw her in 'the cake eaters' and she was actually good.and also in 'into the wild' she was not bad at all. so i convinced myself that she must have been disoriented lately.like, ... very disoriented.
William Hurt on Kristen Stewart, from his DP/30 interview for The Yellow Handkerchief (2008): "She's brave as she can be and I'm defending her whenever I get a chance, and these people who say she's treating the press rudely and stuff like that, I'm going, give her a break, will ya? This is a gutsy woman. This is a young, bright, wonderful, talented, observant... You know? Let her express what she wants to express, why don't ya? Don't, you know, don't put the clamps on her just 'cause she made a big one."
She has a lot of potential. She just needs to stay away from these god-awful vampire films. OH and that picture looks nothing lkike her...
I like her in anything so long as it has nothing to do with Twilight or Robert Pattinson.
