Pretty sure the dead Michael Powell didn't do the sound for some film called Nits in 2004.
IKWIG Weekend on Mull, 15 - 17 October 2010. Plans are now well advanced for the I Know Where I'm Going! reunion/celebration weekend to celebrate that iconic 1945 film on the island where it was made. Anyhow the weekend is 15th - 17th October and a trip to Corryvreckan is going to be one of the highlights. See http://www.powell-pressburger.org/Events.html#IKWIG-Mull for more details
Cinema has arguably never looked better than it did through Powell's technicolor camera.
Wow. I had no idea the director of the awesome, childlike Thief Of Bagdad also directed Peeping Tom. Very cool.
My favourite Michael Powell films are Black Narcissus,The Red Shoes, Peeping Tom and A Canterbury Tale. All pretty fabulous in their own ways. It's a shame that Peeping Tom put an end to his career as such, because people didn't/want to understand it. How ridiculous!
