Born in Casablanca in 1942, in France since 1960.
- Studies : Letters and Foreign Languages at the Sorbonne and at the Oriental Language School
- From 1966 to 1970 : in charge of reception and external relations for the Tours and Annecy festivals
- From 1970 to 1986 : manager of the Club 70, a private film theatre
- Since 1973, in charge of SOGEAV (now named OHRA), a company aimed at producing feature films (“Transes”, “Zeft”, “Hadda”…), promoting Moroccan films (“1001 mains”, “Alyam Alyam”), distributing films in Africa (“Rue cases nègres”, “Bob Marley Exodus”, “Salsa”…), and distributing wordlwide and in cinemas (“Baiser de Tosca”, “Ablakon”…). —Marocorama
