What does that mean?
only kiarostami and jarmusch knows how to be simply and good. and I love that there are no raccord failures
After every new Kiarostami release, the rest of cinema seems empty, boring and meaningless. And the worship of Nolan as an "artist" is even more preposterous.
He's unbelievable prolific and a true poet. The wind that will carry us is one my favorites.
It took me forever to find out where Kiarostami was from until I looked it up. Iran, France, Japan? I'm so impressed I want to watch all of his movies until I'm an expert.
Can't say myself. I've only just seen "Ten" and am by this viewing quite eager to see more. Most interested in "Taste of Cherry" and "Close-Up" to be honest.
I have heard of Kiarostami, but until now have not yet watched; and am here currently researching. I wonder what you mean by this question? :)
Well, having seen "Ten", "Shirin" and "Certified Copy" I can at least see why Haneke admires him. Still need to see the earlier work though.
I wish you would put A propos de Nice (la suite) in your database. I haven't seen it but it seems like something worth watching!
There's a story behind this episode. I don't know to what extent Kiarostami has contributed to this film. Maybe the original idea or first script came from him, but the director's credit should solely go to Mr. Kimiavi, who for strange commercial consideration of the producer had to share the bill with Kiarostami.
I'm very proud and torn about Kiarostami's choice to make his next film, The End, (an extension of certified copy) in Japan.
I think 'Where's the Friend's Home?' to 'Through the Olive Trees' is his best period.
Dear Abbas Kiarostami, Take my salam. I am very glad that I am now in the list of fan of yours. I am a future film maker of a poor country Bangladesh. I would like to invite you in Bangladesh if you can manage some time for us. We will be glad. Mohammad Maruf Firoz 01717036588
