"She's having a baby" is his most satisfying film. All his teen-films have great moments in them but overall the films are formulaic and uneven- I know it's a sacrilegious thing to say but... "She's having a baby" , certainly not without flaws either, works better for me- It's imaginately directed and benefits from a witty, knowing script.
"Planes, Trains and Automobiles!", "Pretty in Pink" and "Home Alone" would really improve this profile.
