Ha fallecido uno de los cineastas más grandes de la historia. Afortunadamente quedan sus películas, cargadas de fuerza, dramatismo y humanidad: 12 hombres en pugna, Network, El Veredicto, Tarde de perros y Serpico entre muchas otras. De sus títulos menos conocidos recomendaría La Ofensa, un policial de alto contenido psicológico protagonizado por Sean Connery. Paz a sus restos.

Demure, austere, yet bold characters in your pictures, they showed us in blood and flesh that "lonely" and "alone" differ: One stands tall and even the eyes hear him scream, but the other sticks his little head in his desperation. You will not be missed, you left us the great pieces of your pure mind and soul after all. Rest in peace.

12 Angry Men, Network, The Pawnbroker and Dog Day Afternoon are all brilliant, with Serpico and Before the Devil Knows Your Dead being great as well
