To the Waverly Theater I weaved and waded, slogged and buzzed, tripped and ran and frittered and flew -- yes, in every possibly altered state imaginable I came as a pilgrim -- to watch the magnificent Holy Mountain again, again, and again. Thank you, Jodorowsky for showing me so many dreams, ideas, places I never could have seen without your visionary work!

las peliculas son geniales pero me guatan mucho mas sus libros creeo q me acompañaron en momentos muy raros digamos dificiles bueno y ademas tambien soy chilena por lo q cada descripcion de chile (buena o mala) me sumergio de forma mas ral en las narraciones

Without any doubt Jorodowsky create an oniric and metaphysical experimental work.The incursions and reality,sleep,and poetics of the dream as process to understand the consciousness is a plus. The Holy Mountain --in my opinion his best--is an example of the use of lsd and altered states of consciousness following Oscar Ichazo's Arica philosophy, Is a pity recently accepted to be totally miscasted in the rol of Beethoven in the horrendous film of Franco Batiato.He probed acting is not for him and should remain behind the camera. the alchemist of cinema, this genius is simply one of the greatest visionaries of independent filmmaking, this man creates a very special atmosphere using metaphysical wisdom, pop and psychedelic imagery and completely personal ideas, Jodorowsky is a pure genius, all on film, poetry or narrative, I completely recommend three films as a rather complete introduction: Topo, Santa Sangre and his first film: Fando y Lis, the books "psicomagia" and "el tesoro de la sombra" are also of his greates, an artist, a therapist and, more than anything a genius.
