I love the quote above - so true. I've read this from other actors and we discussed the idea of "good and bad" plenty in film school. I always asked my actors to think of morality in terms of opposites - how would a drug dealer rationalize his "job" (think Hustle & Flow) or what makes a thief comfortable stealing (De Niro in Heat). Very often good people do bad things, just as the opposite is true. I've been a fan of Guy Pearce forever. I can't remember which film I first saw him in - maybe Ravenous (which btw at the San Diego Comic Con they gave out beef jerky with the movie name on it as a promo). The Proposition, L.A. Confidential, Memento, and Ravenous are superb films. @ULRICH: Great note about him in Warhol, really top notch!

He's uncanny as Andy Warhol in "Factory Girl"- the best Andy Warhol-impersonation so far. The film itself is pretty dreadful. But it's worth seeing for his genius performance.
