since 80s are so celebrated today, i'd get behind, in a second, of a third installment of the gremlins franchise in the genius hands of Joe Dante, who's proven to know how to make the very best kids scary sci-fi material again and again, and also following the 3D trend, to truly understand the possibilities of 3D on his latest film THE HOLE, in which with classic mastery uses modest in-camera tricks to the most amazing emotional effects, aside from the truly compelling metaphor for children's fears that the movie presents. this man could have made SUPER 8 work!
yeah people, you gotta have Explorers and Innerspace, the latter is such a great film.
Where is Innerspace? A fantastic sci fi film of the 80s, great childhood memories watching that one! Explorers is missing too which I loved as a child, though on watching again recently, noticed it's flaws (Joe Dante was apparently never allowed to finish it), still a great little film though.
