Unfortunately it's difficult being taken seriously when you've appeared in so many fluffy things- like "buffy" and the awful horror-films she's done. Not to mention scooby doooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! But I agree, she's a great actress when she's given the chance. I just saw "surbuban girl" - the film is pretty standard fare, but she really kills in that film.
