Rita Nunes

Born in Lisbon in 1974. Film Course in the area of ​​image, at the School of Theatre and Cinema. From 1996 started working as director for cinema and advertising and has made several films, such as the short film Menos Nove, which won several national and international awards (Special Mention at the Locarno Film Festival and Best European Short Film at Brussels Film Festival), the telefilms Contas do Morto and Só por Acaso, the latter, winner of the 2004 Prix ​​Europe award, Paul Author, a documentary about Paul Auster and the shooting of his film in Portugal, Dia Triunfal, about Fernando Pessoa, 2009, among others.

Right now she is preparing her first feature film.
