Alain Baptizet started his career as a filmmaker making documentaries about caves and caving. As a seasoned Speleologist he holds the world record for filimh furthest into the Earth.
Regarded as the Steven Spielberg of caving he has made such classics as “The Cascades of the Night” or “The Pioneers of the Basement.”
Alain Baptizet continued his adventure handheld camera, but this time his passion carried him to Africa and especially Cameroon. To him we many documentaries for television channels such as “Hunters Python” where a young black man put his leg in a hole in Python to better lure and kill him. Shocking images that everyone knows. He is also a documentary about the Fulani’s M’Bororos which is the last truly free, but on this planet.
Subsequently, Alain has moved into fiction and wrote scripts and directed short films that have had great success in film festivals. —Skylla Production
