A scarcely believable sixth decade into his career, John Hurt is still delivering brilliant performances - in both large and small roles - and shows no signs of slowing up. He made his film debut in 1962 and made a strong impact as Richard Rich in Zinnemann's A Man For All Seasons (1966). Many, many strong roles followed in the next several decades.
