I can definitely see that happening. It's unfortunate in a way, but better now than never at all! R.I.P.
Even in the weakest moments of his career, Russell showed us what Cinema is made of.
I was so saddened to hear of Ken's passing last year, such an amazing talent. I was very fortunate to be part of the company who unearthed and restored his collection of photographs a few years ago and in doing so even got to meet the great man.. he was perched upon a makeshift throne and I fleetingly shook his hand and mumbled something. RIP Ken Russell.

Just watched Dance of the Seven Veils. Definitely an overlooked gem in the Russell canon.
The Devils !!!!!!!!!!! I want to put it on my list: Undeniably Strange Movies :)
I hate to admit it, but I'd love to see "Tommy" up in here. If drug-addled imagery and tasteless theatricality enables one to be an auteur, then why not get this guy some more attention? Wouldn't mind "Savage Messiah" or "Music Lovers" either. Oh, and yeah, "The Devils" too. Yeah.
