Aleksandr Yakovlevich Askoldov (Russian: Александр Яковлевич Аскольдов; born 1932) was a Soviet Russian actor and film director. He graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute. After finishing the advanced directing course he directed his first film, Commissar (1967).
