Alexandre Aja is the new master of gory horror films. So far, I'm very impressed by all his features (haven't seen his flop "Mirrors" though). His take on "The Hills Have Eyes" is about ten times more intense than Cravens original - no wonder why Craven himself hired Aja to direct the remake!
