Wang Lung-Wei entered the movie industry in 1974. Spotted by director Chang Cheh, Wang made his first acting debut in Chang Cheh’s Five Shaolin Masters. Between 1974 and 1981, Wang starred in over 10 movies directed by Chang Cheh.
Wang starred over 80 movies in the course of his 20-year career including Five Shaolin Masters, Shaolin Temple, The Brave Archer and The Avenging Eagle. Most of these were martial arts and action movies.
With years of experience, Wang started working behind the scenes in 1985. He choreographed fight scenes, directed and wrote the scripts for many movies. In recent years he retired from the industry. —hkcinemagic.com
