Born in Kanchanaburi (north-east Thailand), 1978, he came to Bangkok after finishing high school. He did many odd jobs, including stints selling KFC and working in a 7-Eleven. Four years later he joined the army for one year and then ordained as a monk in Patumtani. He later returned to Bangkok and worked in a communications company.
