Michael Hammon

Born in South Africa in 1955, Michael Hammon studied at the university of Cape Town. From 1985 – 1991 he studied at the dffb in Germany. Apart from working as cameraman on many award-winning national and international productions, he has also directed his own films, for example WHEELS & DEALS, for which he received the Grimme Award, and most recently the documentary HILLBROW KIDS, about street kids in South Africa.
