Biography

Michael Fassbender (born 2 April 1977) is a German-Irish actor. He is best known for playing Lt. Archie Hicox in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds (2009) and Magneto in the superhero film X-Men: First Class. His other credits include Jane Eyre (2011), the Sky One television series Hex, the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers, Zack Snyder’s 300 (2007), and the 2008 BAFTA-winning film Hunger. –Wikipedia

There is something transcendent about this man's ability to transform himself. He's a very physical actor, the kind who doesn't need dialogue to render a character unforgettably vivid - in my opinion, the best kind.
