Jim Van Bebber is an American film director. Van Bebber attended Wright State University where he studied cinema. Instead of using a bank loan to pay for a second year of college, he used the money to finance Deadbeat at Dawn, and founded the indie film company Asmodeus Productions with several colleagues. The Manson Family took more than ten years to complete.
Van Bebber has directed music videos for bands such as Pantera, Superjoint Ritual, Skinny Puppy and Necrophagia.
Van Bebber won a scholarship to film school based on his eight-millimeter kung fu epic Into the Black, a prototype for Deadbeat at Dawn.
Van Bebber is currently involved in the production of a film about Al Capone. —wikipedia
