Stéphane Brizé (born 18.10.1966, Rennes, France) In 1993, he made his first short film, Bleu dommage, with which he obtained the Grand Prix at Cognac Festival. L’ oeil qui traîne (1996), his second short film, won prizes at several French festivals. His first feature film, Le bleu des villes (1999) participated at the Cannes Director’s Fortnight and won the Award for Best Script at Deauville. Since then, he has made the documentary Bel instant (2004) and the short film Une vie de rêves (2005).
