There was nothing this guy couldn't do. He handled musicals, sci-fi, horror, film noir, war, and melodrama with the skill of William Wyler. While nothing is obviously a "Robert Wise movie", this guy was a skilled professional, and damn good at his job.
I have come to realize that Wise is actually one of my favorite directors. Between The Setup, Three Secrets, and Star Trek: TMP. Hoping to see Odds Against Tomorrow soon.
'TWO FOR THE SEESAW (1962)' - Robert Mitchum + Shirley MacLANE!
Somebody up there likes me!!??
Robert Wise is one of the most underrated american directors . But where is "The Curse of the Cat People" , one of my favorite films of all times ?
