“I put all the memories, images and dialogues in a box and at some point, when it’s too full, it has to come out. I have to give it a place first, like sticking photos in, before I can continue. I only shoot when the box is too full, when I have to get something off my chest. I’m no longer a director when I don’t have anything to get off my chest.”
