Looking at her filmography, she's only given 3 lacklustre performances as I see it; EASTERN PROMISES; Cronenberg is many things, but he's not the greatest nor the subtlest actor's director. THE INTERNATIONAL; when filming began she had just recently given birth to her first child, and I remember reading an interview (with her) in which she said she was exhausted as a result of it, and that it might've affected her focus. YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER; I don't know...she just wasn't very good. But it wasn't her fault- her lines were bad and she had nothing to do- her character's just doing a lot of nagging and not much else.
