Mieko Harada was born December 26, 1958, in Tokyo, Japan, and has had a long successful career as a film and television star. She’s been in several internationally-renowned films, such as Swords of Vengeance, Jigoku, Ran, and Akira Kurosawa’s Dreams. She also did the voice for Kaguya in the 2002 anime film Inuyasha the Movie: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass. She’s been married to the famous Japanese actor Ryo ISHIBASHI (Audition, The Suicide Club) since 1987 and has three children. —AnimEigo
