The credit crunch and austerity. Division. Record unemployment. Welfare Britain. Banking deregulation, fat cat bonus culture. Massively increased inequality, crime and homelessness. Riots, violence. Greed, selfishness, xenophobia, bigotry. Mass obesity. Whole communities destroyed, no such thing as society. Environmental damage and waste. Family silver, national assets sold off, in the hands of international companies exploiting consumers. Schools, hospitals, NHS run down and overburdened. Needless bloodshed in the Falklands war that she took glory for but should have prevented in the first place. Public transport run down, car congestion. North Sea Oil revenues wasted. Shortage of social housing with long waiting lists. Undermining of democracy and media standards with empowerment of her crony Murdoch, who has had his way with elections and voting system since 1979. Neglect of people with disabilities, mental illness, and in most need. After milk taken from little children, school playing sports fields sold off; unfit youth. Profits before people... Thatcher's legacy is disastrous.
