Born in Berlin in 1958, Dagmar Manzel graduated from the State Acting School Ernst Busch in Berlin. She is a member of the Academy of Arts and has played in various theaters in Berlin and in Munich. In 1995, Dagmar Manzel received the Critic’s Award of the ‘Berliner Zeitung’ for her role in ’Kremhild’s Rache’, and in the year 2000 she received the German TV Award for her performance in VICTOR KLEMPERER’S DIARIES. She received the Actress of the Year Award in 2002 for TRAUM IM HERBST. In 2004 she received the Adolf Grimme Award and the Bavarian TV Award for LEBEN WÄRE SCHÖN.
