If he worked with James Gray and Martin Scorsese the rest of his career, we would have a truly interesting performer on our hands. Not a conventionally good actor, but his performance in The Yards is a thing of beauty.

Well, I hate to tell ya, Mark: You chewed up the scenery in "The Happening" man! You chewed up all the goddamn trees and houseplants, man! What happened on that film, man? You once owned the fucking night, man! But on "The Happening", M. Night owned you brother! I bet you're still having M. Nightmares and wakes up in a pool of sweat each morning. But you're a fighter, righter? You can take max pain; you don't fear that your career is (basketball) diarrhea.

Dare I say a very underrated actor. His performance in The Happening is comedic genius.
