Jason Reitman

Director

“I don't want to make films that give you the answer. If there is a message to my films - and I hope there isn't - it's to be open-minded.”

Biography

Jason Reitman (born October 19, 1977) is an Academy Award-nominated Canadian-born/American-based film director, screenwriter, producer and actor, best known for directing the films Thank You for Smoking (2006), Juno (2007), and Up in the Air (2009).

Reitman was born in Montreal, Quebec, the first of three children of comedy director Ivan Reitman and actress Geneviève Robert, sometimes billed as Geneviève Deloir. C'mon Life is better with other people. For me The best movie of that year of the oscar flics at least. I've seen it a couple of times now all at the insistence of people saying it isn't good but I always end up liking it more. A chicago critics best picture pic this one. Def give it another shot esp. if you've only seen it once.

You're a hack. "Up in the Air" should have been this generation's "Annie Hall."

Why should "Up in the Air" have been this gen's "Annie Hall"? I don't see any relation.
