I copped billy liar a few months back @ B&N (that one I’ve seen at some other stores since then)and they had Pygmalion at the the same store but I didn’t pick that up cause I haven’t gotten in2 Lean yet and the only thing I knew about the film was Lean edited it so……although I prob sould of 4 just the OOP status alone but It didn’t intrigue me
Um im on a blackberry and i do not have access 2 a computer at this time but i saw this vary interesting film on sundance i recorded on my dvr last week and i found it vary interesting and ….unique, and I looked on ur data base and I couldn’t find it,so if its possible 4 some1 2 submit it on here 4 me cause idk exactly how 2 do it on my phone and it can b tedious enough(from what I read @the beginning of the thread)on a computer so I don’t really wanna undertake such a thing on a BB lol
The name of the film is “À l’aventure”

@August I loved the way u summed up QT films in ur 1st post with there themes and I agree about the lost of certain elements such as the ending from vol.1 which every time I’ve seen it left me with goose bumps and gets u so hyped for the next vol. Especially with the music and such and bills voice
@shaun I most def whole heartiness agree with ur stance on “childish cinema” that’s y I love Big so much 4 those exact reasons I watched it well over a hundred times prob growing up(among other films in that regards)

1 IFC sucks super monkey balls 4 those commercials, but as people have said as long as they don’t edit the film itself or censor that shit then, its all good 2 me but it does interrupt the flow of the film and take u out of it a bit but I can live with that, when ever they do show something good that is
And who posted the pic from harry potters FB page,is there A link connection between the 2?…..is Voldemort behind the commercials on IFC??

More then likely part 2 will retain all the traits of part 1(its hot garbage juice)and will prob come in2 its own(it will become HOT buttery garbage juice).
I think any film has the possibility in some regards 2 as good or better then citizen kane(or insert w.e u hold in high regards)at least conceptually speaking but as far as execution and the final result of a film its still gonna be interuputted in a multitude of ways by the viewers, all subjective anyways

@ captain, the BBC version r u talking about the old animated version of Narnia of the lion witch and the wordrob?
@Chad,legend is the shit.visually speaking if ur a kid and watching that then that’s gonna mesmerize the shit out of u lol
I’m glad that Willow(val kilmer is the shit as mad mardagen….is that how u spell his name lol?)…and dark Crystal is the shit 2….now how bout some love for bedknobs and broomsticks
Yo I’m surprised no 1 yet(atleast I didn’t see any)mention Labyrinth(not Pan’s)I thought that film was the shit when I was growing up but I haven’t seen it in years,
@BRETT,the night of the hunter on blu is amazing and well worth it (imo)I have Kagemusha on blu ray 2 but I haven’t got a chance 2 see it sense I bought it @ the last CC sale lol.the other 3 spots I would pick yojimbo(this was the film that introduced me 2 Criterion And I think its pretty damn amazing(and funny2),if ur a fan of malick I would get days of heaven on blu cause its just beautiful but its pretty lite on the extras tho idk if that matters 2 u.the 3rd choice I would pick is either Sweet Smell of Success or the killing.btw u might wanna get Pierrot le fou. On blu ray just for the OOP status alone(if that matters 2 u)
