AFI FEST 2011 will take place November 3 - 10. Submissions are now open & filmmakers are invited to submit films at http://www.withoutabox.com/login/1020 The final deadline is August 12. Among the returning AFI FEST sections is “Breakthrough,” which highlights films found through the submissions process. The winning film in the “Breakthrough” section gets a $5,000 cash award. And note that 2011 is the 25th edition of AFI FEST!
