You know, after watching the Coheed and Cambria filled trailer and the awe inspiring animation I was just very disappointed with this film. The story was severely flawed and the characters have no sort of development what-so-ever. I just didn’t have any sort of care for these characters. And the ending? Come on…(I won’t be an ass and reveal it, but…)SOUL RAIN? I remember sitting in my seat watching it and saying: “Oh dear god please don’t be…yes, they did it…Soul Rain.” I don’t care what kind of metaphor this resonates it’s just ridiculous. However, I will agree that the subtleties in his animation style is just incredible. He has a future with a development team in animation. Acker just needs to find someone to develop scripts for him (Although he had three flippin writers and they still couldn’t get something right.).
