The more I think about this film, the more I realize it's a masterpiece. I wasn't a big fan of it the first time...now that I've seen it 3 times it blows me away. The fractured narrative conveys this sense of paralysis, that you can't escape certain inevitabilities in life. I think the complex narrative works better here than in Amores Perros & Babel, both rhythmically and intellectually

Fuck, this movie wakes up on me the deepest feelings that I have as a human being. Makes me feel angry, sad, joy and gratefully. And I personally believe that if a movie, and script, a character can do that to you, that is an awesome movie.

a sappy as fuck soap opera with the King of taking himself too seriously cause 'OOOOooooh, I'm a famous actor' Sean Penn. I couldn't refrain from laughing in the theater at the acting by him and Naomi Watts.
