An African legend forms the basis of this African and German-produced film that is set within an ancient desert town, Sitakili. It is a prosperous town filled with beautiful mud palaces, and is ruled by the despotic tyrant Guimba Dunbuya who spends his day supine on a dais surrounded by servants.
