Our take
Shot over several Sundays in the summer of ’29, this hybrid experiment combines documentary and fictional techniques to explore the wonders of Weimar-era leisure-time. A stellar collaboration from directors on the cusp of breaking into Hollywood (Robert Siodmak, Edgar G. Ulmer & Billy Wilder!).
