Arthur and Franz, two small-time crooks with a love of American b-movies, enlist the object of their shared affection, Odile, to help them steal cash from her family home. But things go awry after Arthur’s uncle learns of their plot and wants to commit the robbery himself, forcing them to rush it.

To all good things, an end must come. Band of Outsiders is the lightest of Godard’s ‘60s classics, a bewitching, often funny tale of three aimless young people adventuring on the border between reality and fiction. Full of energy and iconic scenes, it’s the New Wave at its finest.
