In the summer of 2008, at the same time as the Beijing Olympics, a Lithuanian film crew visited Tibetan refugee camps in Northern India – in Delhi, Dharamsala and Leh. The documentary begins and ends with the wind, blowing from the roof of the world, fluttering colourful flags of belief and saying prayers for Tibet, over and over. The ever-changing images of the film are reminiscent of the turning a Tibetan prayer wheel. They focus our eyes and minds on the tragedy-filled eyes of children, on the whispered prayers of monks and they open our hearts to the simple yet deeply meaningful words of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. —Vilnius International Film Festival
