92 in the Shade

This atmospheric drama follows aimless Tom Skelton (Peter Fonda) as he returns to his Key West home to start a fishing charter business, thereby arousing the ire of established guides Nichol (Warren Oates) and Carter (Harry Dean Stanton), both of whom threaten the younger man with violence. Tom retaliates with explosive force and gets financial backing from his grandfather (Burgess Meredith) as well as the love of teacher Miranda (Margot Kidder).
