Synopsis

When her sister drags her to a strip club, shy community college professor Faye Hanlon (Lesley Ann Warren) doesn’t expect to see anyone she knows. But after realizing that gorgeous dancer “Ricky the Rocket” (Christopher Atkins) is actually one of her struggling students, Faye decides to enter into an excitingly unprofessional affair. As the heat rises with Ricky, Faye grows increasingly unsure of what to do about one minor detail — her husband.

The trashy stripper premise and the sight of Christopher Atkins shaking his fine ass all screams 'instant camp classic', unfortunately the end result is just too limp. Despite the hot sex and a bizarre moment where the husband forces Atkins to strip naked at gunpoint, its all ruined by its humourless filmmakers attempts to appear LEGITIMATE (eg subplots that lead nowhere, arty space symbolism?). What a boner killer.
