A Quiet Day

Motivated by Sun Tzu’s The Art of War, a man attempts to carry out a violent plot on his birthday, but — thanks to the unpredictable actions of the people he meets throughout the course of his day — things don’t go exactly as he’d planned. Set in Paris, director Michael Jaffer’s suspense-laden drama stars Christian Baltauss, Gilles Bellomi and Sandrine Thomas. A bonus 1995 short, “L’Autre Femme (The Other Woman),” is also included.
