The nineteen year-old Bruna, motherless and storekeeper’s daughter, leads a very difficult life because of her job as a maid in a big builing society and the housework she takes care of until her father and brothers come back. One morning in a bus she meets a shy and silent guy of her own age, Sergio; a new friendship immediately arises between them, after then they fall in love. But soon, Bruna is charmed by Mario, a just adolescent southerner who works in a suburb bar, although he is exploited by his greedy boss. When Sergio finds out about the passion between Bruna and Mario, he jiilts his girlfriend. Mario and Bruna decide to live in a house that will be brocken down and from wich they manage to get two rooms where they live happily from their modest jobs. But, suddently Sergio reappears. He doesn’t kick up rows, he isn’t jealous of Mario: he only wants to be close to Bruna. They begin to live friendly all togheter without problems or any scabrous medley. But Bruna feels neglected by both of Mario and Sergio because their friendship becomes stronger due to their common job problems.
