Triangulates between My Night at Maud's (Christmas, Pascal, faith) and The Green Ray (vacation, self-knowledge, 'miracles').
Certe cose mi sa che succedono solo a Parigi. Di certo non sul 52 direzione piazza San Silvestro. Comunque lui è un grande perchè sembra Nacho Vegas. Bel film.
Made in the ‘90s but it still has some of the distinct flavour of pure ‘60s Nouvelle Vague. It effortlessly flits between fast-paced and reflective, didactic and romantic and bleak and joyful, and deftly juggles themes of faith, science, philosophy and above all, love. Wonderful film.
