Synopsis

Director Nicole Garcia (Charlie Says, The Adversary) returns to weave a tale of intrigue, desire and lost love.

Box-office star Jean Dujardin plays Mark, a successful real estate agent in Aix en Provence, who is happily married with a child. His peaceful life is disrupted however when he reconnects with the mysterious Cathy (Marie-Josée Croze) – an old flame he grew up with in Algeria during the last days of the French colonial regime.

The plot continues to twist and turn, set against the stunning backdrop of the Côte d’Azur. Nicole Garcia started her career in the theatre in 1967: she appeared in Les caprices de Marianne, Suréna and Oncle Vania, after studying philosophy and then drama at the Centre Dramatique de la rue Blanche and the Conservatoire national d’art dramatique.
